CivicDesk311

Pilot Terms

Effective September 4, 2026

The CivicDesk311 pilot lets a town, city, or county run the full platform for 30 days at no cost, so the decision to continue rests on real usage rather than a demo.

No cost, no card, no automatic billing. The pilot does not convert to a paid plan on its own. Billing begins only after your jurisdiction gives written approval to continue.

1. What the pilot includes

2. Term

The pilot runs for 30 calendar days beginning the day your instance goes live. Either party may end it at any time, for any reason, with written notice. We may extend a pilot by agreement — for example, to span a council or commissioners' meeting date.

3. Cost and what happens next

The pilot is provided at no charge. To continue afterward, the Standard Municipal & County Plan is per month, billed annually at ,188 per year, and includes unlimited staff logins and unlimited citizen requests. Pricing in effect at the start of your pilot is honored for your first paid term.

4. Data ownership

Your jurisdiction owns all data submitted through its portal. During and after the pilot, you may request a full export of your database at any time and we will provide it. If you choose not to continue, we will deliver a final export and then delete your instance and its backups within 30 days of your written request.

5. What we need from you

6. Public records and retention

Requests submitted through your portal may constitute public records under your state's law. Your jurisdiction remains responsible for its own retention schedule and disclosure obligations. We provide full database exports so you can meet them, including during the pilot period.

7. Availability and support

We aim for continuous availability and respond to support requests during standard business hours. The pilot is provided as-is while you evaluate the platform, and is not a substitute for 911 or any emergency dispatch service. CivicDesk311 is intended for non-emergency citizen requests only.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated for future pilots. The version in effect when your pilot begins governs that pilot.
